We interupt your regularly scheduled Youtube for a special feature: What was supposed to be a quick 10 minute no-frills video turned itself into probably my biggest video production yet. Thats the minecraft curse I guess. Everything I do with minecraft has to be waaaaay overambitious lol. Playing around with the new 1.5 boosters and detector rails, I wanted to see how I could use them to improve on my old-school minecart station designs. So I decided to do a quick video tour of my station, how it worked, and what kind of redstone wiring I had to do to get it to work how I wanted. But after multiple attempted starts I gave up trying to do any kind of coherent video just off the cuff, and made this silly little thing. Then of course I decided to go all pet-project on it and make it animated with little “cardboard cut-out” style graphics, with a smudge of Etherelesk humor. Hope you enjoy. Don’t harsh on me too bad for the design. It works perfectly for everything I want from a station, but its just too much of a wiring mess to try and explain it much more than I have. So sorry, no Tut on THIS version *wink* but I’d be glad to answer any general questions, or put on any discussion. Whatever happens though, I’m never changing that station just for nostalgia’s sake PS yes, I’ll be finishing up work on the advanced automatic wheat field tutorial next, don’t worry too much!

I looked on the Kinko’s website… and you can’t do it on there. I’ll try to find you a cutout.

Wait… I just went to Kinko’s and they said they can do it. They said the cost depends. My friend loves hers.

like that incredibly annoying fred guy and the immature so not funny shane dawson guy? How can they get so much views??? The world is coming to an end folks…if this is what people think of as “so funny” and “oh Shane Dawson is cute” Cute? that guy is ugly. his hair style is outdated and looks so crispy because he straightens it so much. And don’t come with “if you don’t like it why did you watch it” because my little sister was the one watching it and then I happened to see it.
I really don’t get why this guy is funny…hes really gay and looks like a real loser talking to and making love to cardboard cutouts of miley cyrus and joe jonas….who I also do not admire but I think this Shane guy is way worse than they are.

~either enlarge the image> size of canvas, or while pasted image is in selection, grab corner and [ctrl] resize to fit,
~you could also open image, and resize to fit other image then copy and paste,

Question by Sydney: i’m making a cardbaord cut out. how much would it cost to get a picture blown up at staples to 6’2″?
a friend and i are making a cardboard cutout of a character from a movie. i found a picture online and got rid of all the background. if i printed the picture and took it to staples, how much would it cost if i wanted the person to be blown up to 6’2″? and if i printed the picture on regular paper, would it become all pixely (it’s a decent sized picture) or would it be blown proprortionally? answers are needed quickly. i want to find this out before said friend will be back next friday.

I would contact your local Staples. Not all of them have the equipment to print a picture that tall and might have to send it out. The way they figure out how much to charge is by the square foot when you get into large format printing. A standard poster size poster is around $ 40 so you are looking around paying about double that.

As far as if it becomes all pixelated it would depend on the size and resolution of the picture. The best way to keep as much resolution that you can is to bring the picture in on a CD or Thumb drive. If you print it out then they will need to scan it in and could lose some quality.
